These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern use of the Codegnan Student mobile application (the “App”) and related student services made available through it (collectively, the “Services”). The Services are provided by Codegnan IT Solutions Pvt Ltd (“Codegnan”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
These Terms supplement Codegnan’s existing terms and conditions at https://codegnan.com/terms-and-conditions/. If there is a conflict, these App-specific Terms apply to the App to the extent of that conflict.
By creating an account, signing in, accepting these Terms where presented, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the Codegnan Student App Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be authorised by Codegnan, your institution, employer, or training partner to use the Services. If you are below the age at which you can independently agree to these Terms, your parent, guardian, school, or other authorised institution must provide the required authorisation.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it updated. Keep your password and one-time passwords confidential; do not share your account or use anyone else’s account. You are responsible for activity occurring through your account and must promptly report suspected unauthorised access to Codegnan or your administrator.
Use the Services only for legitimate learning, student-support, attendance, placement, and related activities. You must comply with these Terms, applicable law, programme rules, and reasonable instructions from Codegnan or your institution.

You are responsible for the accuracy of attendance-related submissions, leave requests, forms, profile information, resumes, job applications, and other information you provide. App availability or a displayed status does not itself guarantee academic credit, job eligibility, interview selection, employment, certification, or a particular outcome. Decisions by institutions, trainers, employers, and recruitment partners remain their own.
You must follow applicable academic-integrity rules. Do not submit work that is not your own or use the App to facilitate cheating, plagiarism, or other misconduct.
You retain rights you have in content and files you submit (“User Content”). You grant Codegnan a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, process, display, and share User Content only as necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Services, including to authorised trainers, administrators, and placement partners where relevant to your use.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit User Content. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, law, or another person’s rights.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you allow Codegnan to use them without compensation or obligation to you.
The App may contain links to third-party websites, job portals, employer services, or learning resources. Codegnan does not control or endorse those services and is not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their terms.
The App may send service-related notices in the App or through push notifications when you enable them. You can manage push notifications in the App or device settings. You may continue to receive essential account, programme, security, or legal communications where permitted by law.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Services, including through automatic App updates. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, misuse, legal compliance, programme administration, or a breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time.
The App, Services, Codegnan name and marks, designs, software, and content provided by Codegnan are protected by intellectual-property laws and belong to Codegnan or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the App for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership.
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codegnan and its directors, employees, instructors, contractors, partners, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the Services. This clause does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold Codegnan and its personnel harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or User Content you submit that infringes another person’s rights.
Our processing of personal information is described in the Codegnan Student App Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The existing Codegnan terms and conditions identify Karnataka as the jurisdiction for disputes; Codegnan’s legal owner must confirm the final governing-law, venue, and dispute-resolution wording before publication of these App Terms.
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the App, Services, or law. We will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide notice. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
